First-ever Ligue 1 Debut Goal in PSG History
PSG's Goal Also Selected as 'Goal of November'
Players of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), the most popular professional football club in France where South Korean national team player Lee Kang-in plays, will wear Korean-character uniforms in upcoming away matches. This is the first time in the club's history that Korean-character uniforms will be worn, reflecting the club's fan service in response to the rapid increase in Korean fans since Lee Kang-in joined.

PSG announced on the club's official website that they will wear Korean-character uniforms for the first time in the away match against Le Havre AC in the 14th round of the 2023-2024 French Ligue 1 season, scheduled for the 3rd (local time).
The photos released by the club showed white uniforms with the names of not only Lee Kang-in but also other players such as Kylian Mbapp? written in Korean characters.
According to PSG, the number of Korean fans attending PSG matches at their home stadium, Parc des Princes, increased by 20% during one season after Lee Kang-in was signed. PSG's Korean followers on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) increased by about 22,000, and followers on Naver increased by more than 35,000.
PSG stated, "Thanks to the interest from fans from the 'Land of the Morning Calm,' Paris has become the third domestic football club with the most followers." They added, "The rise in PSG's popularity in Korea can be measured by the commercial success of the official Seoul store opened last July," and explained, "Korea has now become PSG's second largest market in terms of e-commerce."
Earlier, Lee Kang-in was also selected as PSG's 'Goal of the Month' for November. The 'Goal of the Month' is chosen by fan votes every month. This time, goals by Mbapp? (against Reims), Ousmane Demb?l?, and Vitinha (both against Monaco) were also nominated. Lee Kang-in's goal was selected with a majority vote of 59%. Mbapp?'s goal received 18.3%, and Demb?l?'s goal received 16.9%, showing a significant gap from Lee Kang-in's goal.

On the 4th of last month, Lee Kang-in scored with a refreshing left-footed shot in the 10th minute of the first half during the Ligue 1 11th round home match against Montpellier, leading PSG to a 3-0 victory. Lee Kang-in received the ball in front of the penalty arc without defensive pressure and accurately struck the upper corner of the goal with a powerful left-footed shot to make it 1-0. This was also Lee Kang-in's Ligue 1 debut goal wearing the PSG uniform this season.
