‘Hope 2024 Sharing Campaign Launch Ceremony’ Held in Changwon

On the 1st, Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam held the 'Hope 2024 Sharing Campaign Launch Ceremony' at the plaza in front of Changwon City Hall, organized by the Gyeongnam Community Chest of Korea to support underprivileged groups during the year-end and New Year season.

The event proceeded in the order of a congratulatory performance, an awards ceremony, congratulatory speeches, and the unveiling of the temperature tower.

The highlight of the event was the unveiling ceremony of the 'Love Temperature Tower,' which visually displayed the precious donation status for neighbors in need, drawing attention.

The Gyeongnam Community Chest of Korea will conduct fundraising for a total of 62 days from the 1st of this month until January 31st next year under the slogan, "Make myself valuable through donation, make Gyeongnam valuable through donation."

Hong Nampyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City, stated, "Our city will actively participate and promote so that the temperature of this temperature tower can rise even hotter," adding, "I ask everyone to join this year’s beautiful and meaningful sharing event so that warm love can be delivered to neighbors in need."

Meanwhile, Changwon City has fostered a sharing atmosphere by starting the 'All Staff Love Fruit Badge Voluntary Fundraising,' and placed donation boxes and QR code banners at city and district office civil service centers and eup/myeon/dong administrative welfare centers to enable citizens to easily and conveniently participate in sharing activities.
