At the inauguration ceremony held on the 1st, Chief Justice Lee stated, "We will review the organization, personnel, operations, and the entire adjudication process to enhance the efficiency and promptness of trials, and prepare both long-term and short-term improvement plans." He emphasized, "Above all, it is necessary to expand and appropriately allocate trial research personnel, improve the efficiency of research tasks, secure budgets to support these efforts, and improve the personnel system."

He continued, "We will reduce unnecessary workloads and refrain from ceremonial events so that we can focus on our core duties," adding, "Through the optimization of the IT system and improvements to adjudication regulations, we will ensure that procedures proceed efficiently and transparently."

Chief Justice Lee also announced plans to form a body involving all justices, researchers, and staff as soon as possible to seek improvements and support measures for education, training, and personnel systems to strengthen trial research and administrative capabilities.

He said, "Without being conscious of the short term of my tenure, I will do my best every day to fulfill my duties," and added, "I will not hastily plan or push forward any initiatives recklessly to achieve goals within my term. I believe my mission is to lay a foundation for the Constitutional Court to make a new leap forward by looking further into the future."

He further stated, "Structural changes in our society and political and economic polarization continuously present new challenges to the Constitutional Court," urging, "The more difficult the challenges we face, the more we must not lose sight of the basics and must reflect on ourselves."
