Increase in Inquiries for Bottom Buying Amid Trading Watch
Average Market Price 250.49 Million KRW... Up 0.22% from Last Week
The golf membership market is showing an increase in inquiries for low-price purchases amid an overall cautious trading atmosphere.
According to Dong-A Membership Exchange on the 2nd, the average price of 100 major memberships traded nationwide is 250.49 million KRW. This is a 0.22% increase compared to last week. By price range, only the ultra-high price range rose by 0.65%. The high price range increased by 0.04%, the mid-price range by 0.24%, while the low price range fell by 0.22%. Dong-A Membership Exchange analyzed, "The ultra-high price range items showed an upward trend as only the asking prices were adjusted without any transactions," adding, "The battle of wits between sellers and buyers is intense, resulting in a differentiated market trend by item."
The average price in the central region jumped 0.31% from last week to 284.64 million KRW. Giheung rose 0.78% as additional buying pressure was added to the accumulated individual purchase orders. Gold also increased by 1.14% as female participation was temporarily allowed. Seoul rose 0.96%, and Seowon Valley jumped 2.27%. On the other hand, Hanseong fell 1.10% due to increased selling pressure. Pristine Valley dropped 1.59%, Jeil 2.22%, Vallios 1.43%, and Sky Valley declined 2.50%. Team leader Park Cheon-ju said, "The central region membership market still lacks trading volume despite some popular items rebounding," and predicted, "Winter low-price purchase orders are increasing, leading to a differentiated market trend by item."
The average price in the southern region is 162.10 million KRW, down 0.14% from last week. Yongwon fell 0.58% as listings appeared but only low-price buyers were waiting. Bugok also declined 1.49% as buying interest turned cautious. Ulsan dropped 1.36%, and Tongdo also slipped 1.23%. De Viche is showing a firm trend without transactions as purchase orders accumulate. Team leader Lee Yun-hee forecasted, "The southern region membership market is generally showing a gap between sellers' and buyers' asking prices. The cautious buying trend waiting for winter lows will continue."
