Large and Small-Medium Enterprise Workers Gather Together for a "Joint Leap"

Jungjinkong Holds '2023 Large, Small and Medium Enterprises and Workers Win-Win Cooperation Performance Report Meeting'

The Small and Medium Business Corporation (Chairman Kang Seok-jin, hereinafter referred to as SBC) announced on the 1st that it held a performance report meeting for the 'Large and Small Business Win-Win Job Program' and the 'Small Business-Worker Performance Sharing Expansion Project' at the JW Marriott Hotel located in Dongdaemun, Seoul.


Under the slogan "Leap Together," the event was attended by about 80 people, including Kang Seok-jin, Chairman of SBC, Lee Dong-won, Director of the Workforce Policy Division at the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, Kim Chang-beom, Vice Chairman of the Korea Economic Association, Oh Dong-yoon, President of the Small and Medium Business Research Institute, Seok Yong-chan, Chairman of the MainBiz Association, as well as representatives from large and medium-sized enterprises participating in the Large and Small Business Win-Win Job Program, outstanding small businesses in performance sharing, and workers.

At this performance report meeting, the following were conducted: ▲Awards for excellent business groups in the 'Large and Small Business Win-Win Job Program' (4 companies) ▲Selection of excellent companies in the 'Small Business-Worker Performance Sharing Project' (10 companies) ▲Presentations of best practices in the win-win job and performance sharing programs.


The Ministry of SMEs and Startups and SBC are operating the 'Large and Small Business Win-Win Job Program,' which utilizes the educational infrastructure of large and medium-sized enterprises to provide job training to young job seekers and connect them to employment in partner small businesses. Over the past five years, this program has achieved results by linking about 2,500 young people to jobs.


The 'Small Business-Worker Performance Sharing Expansion Project' designates companies that share performance with workers through one or more of seven methods, such as management performance bonuses and performance reward reserves, to improve workers' wages and welfare as 'performance-sharing companies' and provides preferential support. Since 2018, approximately 15,000 small businesses introducing performance sharing have been discovered.


Kang Seok-jin, Chairman of SBC, said, "So far, SBC has cooperated to enable large enterprises to train young talent for small businesses and for small businesses to take the lead in sharing corporate performance with workers," adding, "Going forward, in line with the slogan of this event, 'Leap Together,' we will further strengthen the spread of a win-win culture and cooperation among large enterprises, small businesses, and workers."
