Zero Tolerance for Sexual Harassment, Prostitution, Sexual Violence, and Domestic Violence!
On the 29th, Cheongsong-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, conducted prevention education on the four major types of violence (sexual harassment, prostitution, sexual violence, and domestic violence) for about 30 senior officials, including County Governor Yoon Kyung-hee, at the first conference room of the county office. On the same afternoon, the education was also provided to all employees.
On the 29th, Cheongsong-gun conducted the 2023 Four Major Violence Prevention Education to prevent sexual harassment, prostitution, sexual violence, and domestic violence.
In particular, this education was conducted by inviting Lee Ja-ri, the director of Sodam Healing Institute, to establish sound gender awareness values among public officials, improve awareness of violence, and create a healthy workplace culture. Lee delivered an in-depth lecture on the gap in gender sensitivity, common gender discrimination situations in daily life, digital crimes, and prevention of secondary damage that may occur within the organization, emphasizing that "high-ranking officials in the workplace must fulfill their roles and responsibilities."
Governor Yoon Kyung-hee stated, "Our senior public officials must take the lead in strengthening their understanding and capabilities regarding gender equality, and all public officials in Cheongsong-gun will strive to create a healthy workplace culture based on mutual respect and consideration, setting a model example for the residents."
