On the 30th, Samsung Heavy Industries carried out a regular executive personnel reshuffle for positions below the vice president level.
Samsung Heavy Industries stated, "We conducted personnel changes for a total of 13 people, including 5 vice presidents, 7 managing directors, and 1 Master," adding, "Selections were made focusing on talent in technical fields who will lead business competitiveness enhancement and the company's future growth based on expertise and leadership."
In this year's personnel changes, Samsung Heavy Industries promoted vice presidents based on the principle of meritocracy. Five individuals were promoted to vice president: Kim Kyung-hee, Executive Officer (53); Kim Jin-mo, Head of Global New Business Team (58); Namgung Geum-seong, Head of Production Support (52); Ahn Young-gyu, Head of Ship Design (54); and Lee Dong-yeon, Director of Ship & Offshore Research Institute (54).
Samsung Heavy Industries plans to soon finalize and announce the regular organizational restructuring and position appointments.
