On November 1st, Wise Planet Company, Inc., which leads the J-curve growth of startups through marketing-based accelerating, announced that it successfully operated the ‘SBA 2023 IMPACT DIVE Open Innovation Demo Day’ with about 200 participants.
‘IMPACT DIVE’ (hereinafter Impact Dive) is a startup IR event hosted by the Seoul Business Agency (SBA), a startup support and accelerating organization for startup growth, at ‘Seoul Startup Hub Seongsu.’ The program aims to introduce startups addressing ESG issues and contribute to revitalizing the impact investment ecosystem. Impact Dive has been held annually since 2021, and Wise Planet Company has been participating since then.
Throughout 2023, SBA Seoul Startup Hub promoted open innovation together with 11 large and medium-sized enterprises and 50 startups. At this event, 10 startups recommended by large and medium-sized enterprises participated in IR pitching. The startups participating in this IR pitching included ▲Norispace, an intelligent digital forgery detection solution ▲Samsin, an infertility self-test kit and care service solution ▲DBD Lab, a UX research solution for digital products ▲Smardian, an AI infant monitoring solution ▲Deeplee, an AI solution detecting abnormalities through sound ▲Recon Labs, a 3D content solution easily created by anyone ▲Suldamhwa, a traditional liquor curation and subscription platform ▲Teamwork, a smart construction collaboration service solution ▲Tote, a process automation solution based on AI and robotics technology ▲Eight Studio, a diagnostic solution for neurodegenerative diseases in the elderly through visual deep learning.
Wise Planet Company not only operates programs and events but also proposes KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for each program and has achieved over 100% of these targets. For this Impact Dive program, they planned and operated customized programs for each business to strengthen startup capabilities and enhance investment attraction potential. They provided tailored consulting to strengthen investment capabilities and utilized their long-established network, publicity, and marketing expertise to attract 429 registrants, including accelerators, venture capital evaluators, and institutional officials, achieving an on-site participation of over 200 people. Through such customized program planning and systematic operation, last year’s Impact Dive participant companies ▲MOMIT ▲DeepVis ▲Naeiruri ▲Roche Korea succeeded in attracting investments, and ▲UniUni ▲Excrew were selected for the TIPS program, demonstrating tangible results.
Jo Young-min, leader of Wise Planet Company, Inc., stated, “We do not simply operate according to government and institutional project RFPs (Request for Proposals), but plan and operate programs so that beneficiaries can achieve quantitative and qualitative results. Seeing the participating companies in this Impact Dive actually secure investments and grow brings us great satisfaction.” He added, “Wise Planet Company is a group of performance digital marketing experts, and based on this, we are promoting various businesses including education, consulting, marketing, commerce, and investment. We will continue to strive to grow together with startups and various companies.”
