Hanssem Unveils 9 Smart Home IoT Devices Compatible with Samsung SmartThings

Hanssem announced on the 30th that it is expanding the smart home interior experience by introducing nine new Internet of Things (IoT) products controlled through Samsung Electronics' SmartThings.

Hanssem launched nine smart home products including ▲smart switches ▲motorized curtains ▲smart buttons ▲home cameras ▲door sensors ▲motion detection sensors ▲air monitors ▲energy meters ▲and stations (hubs). By installing just the Samsung SmartThings application, users can control multiple Hanssem smart home products and Samsung Bespoke appliances all at once.

Hanssem created smart home packages for kitchen, living room, and bedroom spaces by combining these new products with Samsung appliances, and implemented various smart home scenarios. The "kitchen package" combines the station, motorized curtains, Samsung induction cooktop, and hood. It monitors indoor air quality while cooking and operates the hood and motorized curtains to activate a ventilation system suited to the air conditions.

The "air conditioner package," which includes the station, energy meter, and Samsung system air conditioner, enables management of indoor temperature and electricity bills during summer. Users can check energy consumption and estimated electricity costs via the SmartThings app and operate the air conditioner efficiently according to indoor temperature. The "living room package," which transforms the living room into a theater with a single click of the smart button, and the "bedroom package," where curtains and bedroom lighting automatically turn on according to wake-up time, are also introduced.

Smart home products can be experienced at Hanssem Rehaus stores nationwide. Customers can try smart home scenarios that change the living room environment using smart switches in model houses equipped with smart home products inside the stores. Hanssem Rehaus Designers (RDs) provide consultations to design various smart home scenarios tailored to customers' preferences, and the Hanssem installation team handles product installation upon purchase.
