Gokseong-gun Gallery 107 to Host Year-End Special Invitational Exhibition

Exhibition of Award-Winning Works from the Walking and Drawing On-Site Competition

Gokseong-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Sangcheol Lee) announced that it will hold a year-end special invitational exhibition at Gokseong-gun Gallery 107 from the 30th of this month to December 22.

This exhibition showcases 38 award-winning works from the "Gokseong-gun Walking and Drawing Contest" held during the Gokseong Simcheong Children's Festival on October 7.

The grand prize-winning work, "Train Village Playground" (Kim Seowoo, 1st grade, Gokseong Jungang Elementary School), was praised for vividly expressing the scenery of Gokseong’s train and Rose Park from a child's pure perspective with dynamic colors.

In addition, various attractive works such as the Excellence Award winners "Kkaebi and Friends Going to Gokseong" (Chu Yeonju, 1st grade, Su-mun Elementary School, Gwangju), "Train of Memories" (Kim Minju, 6th grade, Ok-gwa Elementary School, Gokseong), and "Children's Playground Experience" (Hong Sujeong, 2nd grade, Gokseong Middle School) will be exhibited.

A Gokseong-gun official said, "We hope that through the drawing contest and the experience of the award-winning works invitational exhibition, participating students will have new experiences with art and be inspired to have positive dreams. We also hope this will be an opportunity to widely promote the image of 'Cultural Gokseong.'"

Gallery 107 is located at 107-1 Jungang-ro, Gokseong-eup, Gokseong-gun. The exhibition is open free of charge from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day during the period, including holidays.
