Gwangju University’s Department of Youth Counseling and Lifelong Education announced on the 29th that it held the '13th Academic Festival' on the 22nd at the on-campus conference hall.
Under the theme 'Cheongpyeong: 請?', this academic festival was organized to present what students learned and experienced through curricular and extracurricular activities throughout 2023, and to foster camaraderie through various programs.
About 40 participants, including current students, alumni, family company practitioners, graduate students, and department professors, attended the festival, spending meaningful time understanding and communicating with each other. Additionally, the department selected outstanding students and awarded the Im Hyeongtaek Scholarship during the event.
The Department of Youth Counseling and Lifelong Education strengthens students’ capabilities in youth counseling, youth guidance, and lifelong education annually through the academic festival.
The main event featured keynote presentations and Q&A sessions, including 'Major Issues and Response Strategies in Land and Transportation' by former Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Noh Hyungwook, and 'Recent Trends and Development Directions in Real Estate Development' by Professor Choi Changgyu of Hanyang University Graduate School of Urban Studies.
