Cheongsong-gun Records 6·25 War Hero as an 'Immortal Warrior'

On the 28th, Cheongsong-gun, Gyeongbuk, held a photo session for the 6·25 War heroes at the small theater of Cheongsong Culture and Arts Center.

On the 28th, Cheongsong-gun took longevity portraits with heroes of the Korean War.

The event, conducted through the talent donation of the Cheongsong Photography Association (President Shim Myunghwan), involved taking individual photos of the 6·25 War heroes wearing the uniforms awarded to them for their sacrifice for the country, and delivering the framed photos to them.

This event served to boost the pride of the 6·25 War heroes, empathize with the hardships of the veterans, and became an opportunity to carry on the spirit of patriotism of those who devoted themselves to the nation in times of crisis.

Governor Yoon Kyung-hee said, “It is because of the noble sacrifices of the 6·25 War heroes who defended our country that we can now live ordinary yet happy daily lives in peace,” and added, “We will make great efforts to honor not only the 6·25 War heroes but also all national merit recipients, upholding the spirit of the nation and elevating their honor.”
