Hanwha Aero Introduces ESG Support Projects and Technology Protection Escrow System to Partners

'Partner Companies' Sustainable Management Seminar'
Approximately 150 Participants from 100 Companies

Hanwha Aerospace held a seminar supporting sustainable mutual growth with over 100 partners in the defense, aviation, and space industries, the company announced on the 29th.


On the previous day, Hanwha Aerospace hosted the '2023 Partner Sustainable Management Seminar' at the Global Campus Auditorium of its Changwon 3rd Plant in Gyeongnam, attended by approximately 150 executives and employees from partner companies. The purpose was to strengthen ESG management and establish a culture of win-win cooperation between large and small-to-medium enterprises.


At the seminar, Hanwha Aerospace explained the concept and trends of ESG supply chains in line with the enforcement of the 'EU Supply Chain Due Diligence Act' and the strengthening of global ESG regulations.


Hanwha Aerospace introduced partner ESG support projects, a payment linkage system for deliveries, and a technology protection escrow system fully funded by Hanwha Aerospace. Compliance education was also conducted.


Based on Hanwha Group's management philosophy of 'Together, Far,' Hanwha Aerospace has continuously engaged in win-win cooperation activities such as export project financial support programs and partner productivity improvement support projects to promote sustainable management among its partners.


Ryu Young-kwan, Head of CRM at Hanwha Aerospace, said, "It was a meaningful occasion where we could take a step further toward sustainable growth together with our partners."
