Pet-Friendly Travel Packages for December 24-25
How about taking a train to Ulsan with your ‘Daengdaengi’ this Christmas?
Ulsan City and the Ulsan Culture and Tourism Foundation will operate a pet-friendly travel package called ‘Ulsan Daengdaeng Train’ from December 24 to 25.
The Daengdaeng Train is a tourist train product planned after Ulsan City was selected as a pet-friendly tourism city earlier this year.
With the cooperation of the Korea Tourism Organization and Korea Railroad Corporation, the entire temporary train for the Paldo Market (6 passenger cars and 1 cafe car) will be rented and operated.
The trip lasts for 2 days and 1 night (December 24?25), departing from Seoul Station at 10 PM on the 24th and arriving at Taehwagang Station around 3 AM on the 25th.
Main activities include a welcome event for tourists, a special Christmas event, watching the sunrise at Ganjeolgot, and sightseeing at Daewangam Park, traveling around the Ulsan area. A professional guide specializing in pet travel will accompany for a safe journey.
Reservations can be made through the PetsGoTravel website from November 29 to December 17, with a first-come, first-served limit of 200 people.
An official from Ulsan City said, “We planned this product so that people can comfortably tour Ulsan with their pets during the holiday period,” adding, “We hope everyone enjoys a precious Christmas watching the sunrise at Ganjeolgot with their dogs.”
On November 25, a group travel package for pet owners and their dogs was launched, touring Ulsan on the Jangsaengpo ‘Whale Sea Travel Ship,’ where 60 pet owners and 40 dogs from across the country had a joyful time.
