Unique Cultural Experience at Shilla Stay Samsung Rooftop
Performance Opportunities for Rookie Musicians and Healing Time for Audience
Shilla Stay announced on the 29th that it will hold the concert "Stay in Music," providing performance opportunities for rookie musicians who have recently debuted and need chances to showcase their talents.
Since early this year, Shilla Stay has offered cultural events such as art exhibitions and humanities lectures to allow guests to experience diverse cultural activities beyond simple lodging. As the final cultural event of the year, on December 7th, in collaboration with KT&G Sangsangmadang, Shilla Stay Samsung will host the indie musician concert "Stay in Music."
The performance features musicians who have been verified for musicality and popularity through KT&G Sangsangmadang’s rookie musician support projects "Band Discovery" and "My First Concert." Singer-songwriter "Jeong Tune," who resonates with audiences through songs depicting the small daily lives of youth; "Dayangseong," who crosses the boundaries between acoustic and electronic music with fairy-tale-like lyrics; and the band "Jisokuri Club," which pursues comfortable music resembling nature, will perform for two hours.
A Shilla Stay representative said, "We planned this concert with the warm intention of providing performance opportunities to rookie musicians to support their growth and offering cultural experiences to our customers. We expect a performance full of youthful energy on the outdoor rooftop with a splendid night view of downtown Seoul and the Han River."
The Stay in Music concert is free of charge and will be held on December 7th from 8 PM for two hours at the Shilla Stay Samsung rooftop. Attendance is by application through Shilla Stay’s official Instagram and KakaoTalk channels. On the day of the concert, portable heaters, blankets, hot packs, and hot chocolate will be provided on the rooftop.
