Pulmuone Launches 100% Premium Namdo Garlic Products in Collaboration with Haenam-gun, Jeonnam

Business Agreement for Product Development and Collaboration Model Discovery
1.2 Million Minced Garlic Products to be Sold Starting January Next Year

Pulmuone Foods announced on the 28th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Haenam-gun, Jeollanam-do, to develop products using Haenam agricultural and marine specialties and to discover cooperative models, and will introduce minced garlic products made with Haenam garlic.

Starting from January next year, Pulmuone plans to use Namdo garlic from Haenam-gun for all domestically produced minced garlic products and sell 1.2 million units annually. The product packaging will feature the phrase "100% Ttangkkeut Haenam Garlic" and a mascot to highlight Haenam and widely promote the excellence of Haenam's agricultural and marine specialties.


Pulmuone will continuously commercialize and discover cooperative models to expand the market and enhance the image of Haenam agricultural products. Haenam-gun plans to actively cooperate in joint promotions, discovering cooperative models, and maintaining the quality of raw agricultural products to improve Pulmuone’s regional win-win image and the brand value of Haenam’s agricultural and marine specialties.


Cheon Young-hoon, Head of Sales FU at Pulmuone Foods, said, “Namdo garlic from Haenam, harvested in an optimal natural environment, is famous for its excellent quality, so we believe we can offer better products to consumers by utilizing it.” He added, “Starting with garlic, we will continue to develop high-quality products using clean and fresh excellent agricultural and marine products from Haenam.”
