Tuesday the 28th is expected to see a significant drop in temperature compared to the previous day due to cold air that arrived overnight.
The morning low temperatures are forecasted to be between -4 and 7 degrees Celsius, with daytime highs ranging from 1 to 12 degrees Celsius.
Morning temperatures will fall below freezing mainly in the central regions, and strong winds will make the perceived temperature even colder.
Until morning, occasional rain or light snow is expected in the central regions (excluding the east coast of Gangwon), Jeolla area, inland Gyeongbuk, and western inland Gyeongnam.
Expected precipitation nationwide, including the previous day, is around 1mm. Jeju Island is expected to receive less than 5mm.
Outside the Seoul metropolitan area, less than 1cm of snow may fall.
Fine dust levels are expected to be between 'Good' and 'Moderate' across all regions.
However, the Seoul metropolitan area, Yeongseo in Gangwon, Chungbuk, and Yeongnam regions are expected to experience temporarily 'Unhealthy' levels in the morning.
Strong wind warnings may be issued for the mountainous areas of Gangwon, northeastern mountains of Gyeongbuk, and Jeju Island due to gusts exceeding 70 km/h (20 m/s) in the early morning, so caution is advised.
Sea waves will be 1.0 to 3.0 meters in the East Sea coastal waters, 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the West Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the South Sea coastal waters.
Wave heights in the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline) are expected to be 1.5 to 5.0 meters in the East Sea, 1.5 to 4.0 meters in the West Sea, and 1.0 to 3.5 meters in the South Sea.
