Man in his 50s Unconscious After Getting Caught in Machine at Changwon Auto Parts Factory

In Changwon, Gyeongnam, a worker became unconscious after being caught between machines, and the police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.

According to the Changwon Jungbu Police Station on the 27th, a man in his 50s, Mr. A, who was working at an automobile parts factory in Seongsan-gu, Changwon City, was found caught in an industrial robot machine around 7:40 PM on the 24th.

Mr. A was caught by the chest and was transported to the hospital in cardiac arrest, where he underwent surgery but has not yet regained consciousness.

The police are investigating the accident by questioning on-site workers and safety management personnel, and are checking whether safety regulations were followed.
