Pronics, a subsidiary of iWinPlus, announced on the 27th that its AI voice sensor-based biometric authentication technology, developed in collaboration with Professor Geonjae Lee of KAIST, has been selected as one of the 'Top 100 National R&D Achievements of 2023,' accelerating its voice recognition business.
The selected outstanding achievement is a biometric authentication technology based on a voice sensor that mimics the human cochlea, which is expected to be expanded and applied to Pronics' product lineup.
Pronics announced last September that it would officially begin commercializing AI voice recognition sensor products. The company plans to maximize sales through the launch of various products based on differentiated voice recognition technologies such as AI hearing aids.
A Pronics representative stated, "As a result of our efforts in developing voice sensor technology, we plan to officially launch products starting next year," adding, "Along with the existing micro-LED mask business with surface-emitting technology, we expect future growth through the expansion of the voice recognition business."
