On the 24th, Yeongyang-gun held a 2024 health project briefing session at the Culture and Sports Center, with about 200 local representatives participating.
This event was held to review the results of this year's health projects and share the major health projects to be promoted next year with the county's representative local organizations (village chiefs, the Life Improvement Association, and related institutions), aiming to increase residents' interest and participation and spread a healthy lifestyle practice atmosphere in the community.
As a pre-event, participants performed health exercises prepared by the public health center, followed by an exciting health dance demonstration by residents of Ipam-myeon Healthy Village and Daecheon-ri.
The main agenda included awarding the county governor's commendation to outstanding contributors to health projects and civilians, mental health education by the public health center's mental health team, an explanation of next year's health projects by the public health center director, and the event concluded with a congratulatory performance by the instructors of the "Exciting Exercise Class during the Off-Season."
County Governor Oh Do-chang stated, "We will continue to carefully check local health issues and implement various strategies to promote health, and we will do our best to create a healthy Yeongyang together with local residents."
