Vivaldi Park Ski Resort operates a total of 12 slopes and 10 lifts including gondolas, making it the largest facility in the metropolitan area capable of accommodating up to 20,000 visitors simultaneously. This season, seven new state-of-the-art snowmaking machines have been added. Additionally, the rest area located at the top of the ski resort has been renewed and reopened with an Italian Roman temple concept. Night skiing will be continuously available except for the early mornings from Monday to Wednesday.
Snowy Land, where visitors can directly experience sledding and other winter play facilities, will open sequentially in the near future. Especially, with the Quick Pass system operating from this year, those who purchase products online in advance can enter without visiting the ticket booth. Expanded Snowy Cabana and Caravan facilities, along with newly created character photo zones, and events such as the Snowy Parade are also prepared.
In addition, the sale of season passes that allow unlimited use of ski & board lifts and gondolas throughout the winter season will continue until the 31st of next month. The Smart Season Pass now includes equipment rental, Snowy Land, lessons, food and beverage, sauna, room discounts, and newly added one free admission to Ocean World this year. For the Premium Season Pass, one child’s season pass and a room stay voucher at one of Sono Hotels & Resorts’ nine domestic locations are provided. It also offers benefits for Snowy Land use and 10 free visits each for coffee and sauna.
To celebrate the opening, Sono International will hold year-end and New Year events. On the 24th and 31st of next month, torch ski performances and fireworks shows will take place during nighttime hours, and on New Year’s Day 2024, a sunrise event is scheduled at the top of the ski resort.
A Sono International representative stated, "We are doing our best to ensure you can enjoy riding on the best snow quality this season," and added, "We will also focus on customer safety prevention measures such as conducting joint public-private rescue training."
