The "Busan Mi(美)Art Festival" was organized to discover outstanding beauty talents in Busan and strengthen the competitiveness of the beauty industry.

It is operated as a festival where both beauticians and Busan citizens can enjoy together through beauty skill competitions, student career experiences, booth operations, and more.

This event is diversely composed of ▲an opening ceremony ▲beauty skill competitions ▲beauty celebrity lectures ▲citizen participation programs ▲side events, and more.

The opening ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. on the 28th, with attendance from Busan City officials, heads of beauty hygiene organizations, beauty college faculty, and Busan citizens to celebrate the opening.

For the opening celebration performance, a Bamboo Therapy performance by Lee Odeul and other dancers, as well as a hair show opening by the Minwoo Hair Team, are prepared.

In the beauty skill competitions, contests in fields such as hair, skin beauty, and nails will be held to allow beauticians to showcase their hidden talents, and it is expected to discover outstanding beauty talents through this.

Each competition is hosted by the Busan City Council of the Korea Beauty Association, the Busan Branch of the Korea Skin Beauty Association, and the Busan Branch of the Korea Nail Beauty Association.

Additionally, various citizen participation programs such as personal color diagnosis, skin diagnosis, makeup experience, and MiArt photo studio where citizens can directly experience Busan beauty will be held, along with a beauty college capstone competition, lectures by famous figures in the beauty field (beauty celebrities), and mentoring talk shows.

Especially during the lecture by a famous figure in the beauty field, "Fresh Teacher Lee Hyeyeong," the director, will give a storytelling-style lecture titled "Challenges for Beautiful Success," sharing her experiences from the beginning as a beautician to the present, making it an opportunity for Busan beauticians to further nurture their dreams.

Since this festival is held for the development of Busan's Mi(美)Art, the city plans to actively encourage participation from academia to create an opportunity for organic cooperation among local government, industry, and academia.

Detailed information can be found on the official event website.

Lee Sora, Director of the Citizen Health Bureau, said, "As beauty has now become a subject of interest for all age groups, we hope this festival will be a celebration that beauticians and Busan citizens can enjoy together," adding, "Going forward, our city will continue to seek development directions for the advancement of 'Busan's Mi(美)Art' and do our best to actively support it."
