Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) announced on the 23rd that the ‘Geumcheon Homeplus Siheung Branch Volunteer Association’ donated a sharing box worth approximately 6 million KRW, consisting of side dishes, food items (seaweed, beef bone soup), and daily necessities (kitchen towels, masks, blankets) to the Siheung 5-dong Community Service Center.

The Siheung 5-dong Community Service Center plans to deliver the sharing boxes to 100 low-income elderly residents in Siheung 5-dong.

Additionally, for over ten years, they have provided snacks monthly to 90 children at the Jeonjin-sang Regional Children's Center, continuing volunteer activities annually to support vulnerable groups.

Lee Sang-jun, the manager of Homeplus Siheung Branch, said, “I am glad to be able to deliver a small but warm heart to the elderly during the upcoming cold winter.”

Yu Seong-hoon, Mayor of Geumcheon-gu, said, “I am grateful to the ‘Homeplus Siheung Branch Volunteer Association’ for delivering warm hearts to neighbors in need every year, and the donated items will be properly delivered to elderly people living alone.”
