KT Jeonnam-Jeonbuk Regional Headquarters carried out various activities at the ‘2023 Korean Society for Quality Management Fall Academic Conference’.
The academic conference was held on the 24th at the Yeosu Expo Convention Center, where discussions took place across various areas including excellent quality improvement cases of companies for national balanced development, digital innovation of public enterprises and public institutions, and ESG for safety and environmental quality enhancement.
A competition to discover innovative ideas from university (graduate) students was also conducted.
In the planned session of the academic conference, ‘KT Quality Innovation,’ presentations were made on ▲ Cases and development directions of AICC replacing humans (KT Manager Lim Young-seop) ▲ Future growth engine AI robots (KT Executive Director Choi Ok-jin) ▲ Measures to strengthen corporate competitiveness through industrial complex DX (KT Manager Ahn Ki-chung).
Professors, university (graduate) students, companies, and institutions participating in the event had a time to discuss and share KT’s AI-based digital transformation technologies and services for corporate quality improvement cases and future development directions.
In the subsequent university (graduate) student competition, among 17 new service innovation ideas using KT’s super-large AI ‘Mi:dm’ submitted in advance, 10 selected innovative ideas were presented on site.
Based on Mi:dm, the ideas demonstrated service development potential and possibilities in various fields such as manufacturing, medical care, distribution, and welfare, attracting interest and expectations from conference participants.
Among the 10 award-winning teams, the ‘Grand Prize’ was awarded to the ‘MI:IM’ team from Incheon National University for their ‘Biz Optimize-type product recombination system model,’ which proposed an inventory optimization idea by collecting and integrating inventory data from various companies including travel agencies using the super-large AI ‘Mi:dm.’
