After Labor Pain at the Venue, Transferred to Hospital... Daughter's Birth
A woman in her 20s who was watching a concert by global pop star Taylor Swift was rushed to the hospital due to severe abdominal pain and gave birth to a daughter. It was reported that she was unaware of her pregnancy until then.
According to Brazilian media outlet G1 on the 24th (local time), the woman named Maria Eduarda (24) went to the venue on the 19th to watch Swift's concert held in Rio de Janeiro.
However, Eduarda soon felt severe abdominal pain and headed to the restroom, where she personally confirmed her water had broken. With the help of a friend who accompanied her, she took an ambulance to the hospital, where the medical staff told her she needed to give birth immediately, which surprised her as she did not know she was pregnant.
Eduarda said she often experienced abdominal pain and added, "Even on the day of delivery, I felt recurring pain but didn’t realize it was labor pain. I just waited, hoping the pain would disappear before the concert." She also said, "There were no signs at all, and even my menstrual cycle showed no changes."
Eduarda said, "I was shocked when the ultrasound results showed a 100% probability of 40 weeks of pregnancy," and added, "Until recently, I was doing barbell exercises at the gym and taking medication, without any preparation." In fact, recent photos she shared show that it is hard to tell she was in the late stages of pregnancy.

Eduarda and her newborn daughter are reported to be in good health. Eduarda said, "I hope to be able to go to a Swift concert with my daughter someday."
Swift is currently conducting her worldwide tour, "The Eras Tour," in Latin America, starting from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
On the 17th, a tragic incident occurred during the Brazil concert where an audience member died of cardiac arrest. Ana Clara Benevides, a 23-year-old woman attending Swift’s concert at Est?dio Ol?mpico Nilton Santos, suddenly lost consciousness and collapsed. She was immediately taken to the hospital but ultimately passed away due to cardiac arrest.
Since debuting in 2006, Swift has been considered one of the most successful female musicians since the 2010s, balancing musicality and commercial success. She holds the record for the most number one albums on the Billboard HOT 200 among female artists with nine studio albums and has sold over 60 million albums worldwide. She is also the first female singer to win the Grammy Award for Album of the Year three times.
In particular, Swift’s concerts have had such an economic impact that the term “Swiftonomics” (a blend of economics and Swift) was coined, as prices rise in every city she visits. The revenue from Swift’s "The Eras Tour," which started in March this year, reaches $11 to $12 million per show.
