The Lumpiskin Central Accident Response Headquarters (CARH) announced on the 25th at 8 a.m. that the number of confirmed domestic Lumpiskin cases in cattle remains at 107.
This count covers cases confirmed from the 20th of last month to the 20th of this month, with no new confirmed cases reported from the 21st to the previous day.
Separately, the CARH is conducting tests on one suspected report. Lumpiskin is a viral disease transmitted by blood-sucking insects such as mosquitoes and biting midges, causing symptoms like high fever and skin nodules (lumps) in infected cattle.
