According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 24th, some inland areas of Gyeongsang Province under a cold wave advisory will experience a significant drop in morning temperatures by more than 10 degrees compared to the previous day. Morning low temperatures are forecasted to range from minus 10 to 1 degree Celsius, and daytime highs from 2 to 10 degrees Celsius.
The nation will generally be clear, but clouds will be abundant along the west coast and Jeju Island. Fine dust levels will be 'good' across all regions due to smooth atmospheric dispersion. The air will remain very dry for the time being, especially in Gangwon Yeongdong, the northeastern mountainous areas of North Gyeongsang, and the eastern coastal areas of Gyeongsang Province, where dry weather advisories have been issued.
Sea waves will be 0.5 to 3.0 meters in the East Sea coastal waters, 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the West Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the South Sea coastal waters. In the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline), wave heights are expected to be 1.0 to 4.0 meters in the East Sea and 0.5 to 3.5 meters in the West and South Seas.
