Dongmyeong University Human Rights Center Conducts Digital Sex Crime Prevention Education

The Human Rights Center of Dongmyung University conducted digital sex crime prevention education on the 23rd in Room 106 of the University Headquarters Management Building.


A total of 68 participants, including enrolled students, attended the education session, where Kwon Ju-young, an instructor from the Korea Institute for Gender Equality Promotion and Education, delivered a lecture on the concept, types, victim support, and prevention methods of digital sex crimes. Instructor Kwon explained the seriousness of digital sex crimes and the importance of protecting victims, focusing on specific cases.


In the lecture, he emphasized, “We must prevent harm through a proper understanding of digital sex crimes.”


Dongmyung University also conducted special tailored training (on prostitution and domestic violence) for high-ranking officials, including institution heads, over two days from the 16th to the 17th.
