Hagaeun Ha, a student in the Department of Craft at Dong-A University College of Arts and Physical Education (double majoring in Industrial Design), won the grand prize in a contest hosted by the Korea Culture and Tourism Institute.
The award ceremony was recently held at the Korea Culture and Tourism Institute, attended by Hagaeun Ha and other awardees and officials.
Hagaeun Ha, along with Mun Seol-yeong from Pukyong National University, won the grand prize in the Korea Culture and Tourism Institute’s "4th Tourism Statistics Infographic Contest" with their work titled "Now, Travel Again," which focused on changes in domestic travel after COVID-19.
"Now, Travel Again" received high praise from the judging panel for visually and succinctly reflecting the latest design trends regarding how domestic travel has changed since COVID-19.
Hagaeun Ha said, “Although I was somewhat inexperienced in analyzing statistical data as a design major, I am truly grateful for the positive evaluation,” adding, “This experience taught me valuable lessons to produce better results.”
Now in its fourth year, the Tourism Statistics Infographic Contest was established to provide information on domestic and international tourism changes through infographics using tourism statistics and to offer various insights.
