42% Increase Compared to Sales on New Year's Day Last Year
Musinsa's largest annual discount event, 'Mujinjang Black Friday,' recorded sales of 50 billion KRW within just one day of the event's start.
Musinsa announced on the 24th that the Mujinjang Black Friday event, which began at midnight on the 22nd, surpassed cumulative sales of 50 billion KRW in just 24 hours and 40 minutes.
This means that sales exceeded approximately 33 million KRW per minute throughout the day. Compared to the first day sales of last year's Mujinjang Black Friday, this represents an increase of about 42%. Winter items such as shearling boots, heavy outerwear, and coats ranked high, and brands like Nomanual, Thisisneverthat, Rockfish Weatherwear, Butter Cells, and Urban Dress showed strong sales figures.
Looking at the time slots, the number of orders was highest between midnight and 1 a.m., with over 80,000 orders placed. This is interpreted as reflecting customers' high expectations for the event. During the four-day teasing period starting on the 18th, more than 650,000 people participated in the random discount coupon event, demonstrating strong interest.
The 'Musinsa Live' held on the first day also achieved excellent results. The Thisisneverthat Musinsa Live broadcast at 8 p.m. attracted over 60,000 viewers cumulatively within one hour, gaining significant attention. Musinsa offered popular winter products such as Thisisneverthat's fleece jackets and hoodies at up to 50% off during the live special sale, recording sales exceeding 700 million KRW.
Musinsa plans to continue various events and promotions both online and offline until the event ends on the 3rd of next month, aiming to contribute to the sales growth of participating brands.
