Andong City in Gyeongbuk has joined hands with Hyundai Home Shopping to promote local agricultural specialties and expand sales channels.
On the 22nd, Kwon Ki-chang, Mayor of Andong, and Han Kwang-young, CEO of Hyundai Home Shopping, gathered at Andong City Hall and agreed to work together to promote and sell Andong agricultural specialties through Hyundai Home Shopping to stimulate consumption and expand sales channels.

Accordingly, starting this December, Andong agricultural specialties will be sold to consumers nationwide through Hyundai Home Shopping's TV broadcasts as well as the mobile live commerce platform "Shora." In particular, the live commerce "Shora" will conduct real-time live broadcasts from Andong, where producers will directly introduce agricultural products, adding credibility and vitality.
Through this agreement, Andong's excellent agricultural specialties will be promoted nationwide via Hyundai Home Shopping's broadcasting channels and mobile platforms, enhancing brand value and contributing to increased farm income and revitalization of the local economy.
Mayor Kwon Ki-chang stated, "We plan to promote Andong's safe and fresh agricultural specialties to consumers nationwide through the rapidly growing TV home shopping and mobile live commerce," adding, "We hope this will serve as an opportunity to pioneer sales channels, increase income, and boost the brand value of local agricultural products."
