The interior of the rest area is equipped with convenience facilities such as air conditioning and heating to prepare for heatwaves and cold waves, a TV, sofa, table, hot and cold water dispensers, and mobile phone chargers. Closed-circuit (CC) TV has also been installed for user safety. Access is granted through authentication using personal credit cards or mobile phone payment functions.

The city plans to identify areas for improvement through a three-week pilot operation and then officially operate the rest area starting from the 15th of next month. During the first week of the pilot operation, the rest area will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and from the second week onward, it will operate 24 hours a day. The city also intends to utilize public jobs for cleaning and organizing supplies in the rest area.

A city official stated, "We will check if there are any areas that need improvement through the pilot operation and strive to make the rest area a comfortable resting place for mobile workers."
