Geochang-gun to Reflect Residents' Voices in Next Year's Work Plan

Establishment of Work Plans Reflecting the Experiences of Military and Civilians

Geochang-gun, Gyeongnam Province, has been holding the "2024 Major County Administration Work Plan Open Report Meeting" for three days from the 22nd to the 24th at the county office's large conference room, inviting about 100 residents from various sectors.

The report meeting was organized to listen to residents' opinions before establishing the implementation plan for next year's work plan, actively reflect them to promote projects that residents can feel directly, and inform residents about the direction of county administration in 2024.

Geochang-gun is holding an open briefing session on next year's major administrative plans, inviting about 100 residents.

This report meeting is chaired by County Governor Gu In-mo and attended by the vice governor, directors, the Planning and Budget Officer, heads of 23 relevant departments, members of related organizations and groups, and residents. The meeting proceeds in the order of reporting the 2023 county administration achievements and the key and new projects for 2024.

The key projects for 2024 include ▲the establishment of Geochang-type Medical Welfare Town ▲construction of Geochang-gun cremation facility ▲completion of dormitories for foreign workers ▲completion of the 2nd elevator test tower ▲opening of Geochang Forest Leisure Sports Park ▲creation of the 2nd Sports Town, among others. Notably, these projects include substantial initiatives closely related to revitalizing the local economy and residents' daily lives.

Governor Gu In-mo stated, “We will actively promote projects that residents can feel, and through close communication and on-site administration, we will carry out efficient county administration without any setbacks.”

Meanwhile, Geochang-gun plans to actively reflect the residents' opinions gathered at this report meeting in the 2024 project implementation and finalize the implementation plan.
