CTR Group Conducts Employee Social Contribution Activities to Improve Mobility Rights for the Mobility-Disadvantaged

Automotive parts specialist CTR Group will carry out social contribution activities for mobility-impaired individuals.

The Korea Federation of Medium-sized Enterprises announced on the 21st that "CTR, a member company, has partnered with the non-profit organization Gyedanppusyeo Club to begin collecting information on support facilities to improve mobility rights for mobility-impaired people in local communities."

About 750 CTR employees plan to visit buildings and shops in busy areas of Gyeongnam, Ulsan, Daegu, and other regions where CTR business sites are located until January next year, investigating the presence of elevators, ramps, and wheelchair-accessible facilities, and will deliver the findings to Gyedanppusyeo Club. Gyedanppusyeo Club is a non-profit organization established in 2021 to inform mobility-impaired individuals about urban accessibility levels. Information voluntarily provided by citizens is recorded and managed in their self-developed ‘Gyedan Conquest Map’ application.

A CTR Group official explained, "By expanding the scope of the ‘Gyedan Conquest Map,’ which was primarily developed around the Seoul metropolitan area, this initiative will contribute to improving mobility rights for mobility-impaired individuals living outside the metropolitan area."
