Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 21st that the 'K-Jazz Love Letter' performance will be held at the Jangseong Culture and Arts Center Grand Theater on the 5th of next month.
The performers for this event are singer Joo Hyun-mi, jazz vocalist Lee Kyung-woo, and jazz drummer Pil Yoon's Pil Yoon Band, who will present familiar yet sweet jazz melodies to our ears.
Looking into the details of this performance, it is understandable why the letter 'K', representing Korea, is attached before jazz.
Jazz arrangements of Joo Hyun-mi's representative songs such as 'Rainy Yeongdonggyo', 'That Person in Sinsa-dong', and 'Regretting While Crying' will be performed. Lee Kyung-woo will deliver deep emotions by singing songs like 'Cotton Field' and 'Kensela'.
The admission fee is 5,000 KRW per person, and the performance is suitable for audiences aged 7 and above. Reservations start at 9 a.m. on the 22nd and can be made online through the Jangseong-gun website, or by visiting or calling in person.
For in-person or phone reservation inquiries, please contact the Jangseong-gun Lifelong Education Center.
Meanwhile, this performance is part of the 'Cultural Sympathy Project Across the Country with Arts Centers'.
Hosted by the Korea Culture and Arts Centers Association and organized by Jangseong-gun, it is supported by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Arts Council.
