This project involved directly visiting aging rural households to provide better quality of life for vulnerable elderly by offering services such as wallpapering and floor mat replacement by the Muhak Good Day Volunteer Group, and organizing belongings including laundry of blankets and clothes by the Farm Housewives Association Disaster Site Clean Volunteer Group.

Chairperson Choi said, “I am glad to be able to alleviate some of the inconveniences in the daily lives of elderly people in rural areas, and the Gyeongnam Provincial members of the Farm Housewives Association, who act as guardians of our rural communities, will continue to actively participate in community contribution activities.”

Executive Director Kim said, “Although it is a small effort, in 2023, the residential environment improvement project was carried out through on-site volunteer activities in cooperation with Gyeongnam Nonghyup in Tongyeong Hansando, Changwon Jindong, and Namgeochang areas to help elderly and marginalized groups in rural areas. I feel rewarded to be able to share warm affection for our local community.”

Deputy Head Lee said, “Gyeongnam Nonghyup will continue to pay attention to neighbors in need, and together with the local company Muhak, we will strive to further spread the culture of sharing and donation in the local community.”
