Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF) announced on the 20th that Choi Gi, former CEO of KS Korea Employment Information, has been appointed as the company's new auditor.
Auditor Choi graduated from Busan Nam High School and Dong-A University with a degree in Political Science and Diplomacy. He earned a master's degree in Business Administration from the Helsinki School of Economics and a doctorate in Business Administration from Kyung Hee University.
He joined the Housing Bank, the predecessor of KB Kookmin Bank, in 1983 and worked there for about 30 years as a 'banker.' He has held various positions including Head of Sales Headquarters and Vice President at KB Kookmin Bank, CEO of KB Kookmin Card, and CEO of KS Korea Employment Information.
Auditor Choi stated, "Based on my deep understanding of housing finance, including securitization and personal guarantees, and empathetic leadership, I will do my best to make the corporation a leading institution in housing finance responsible for the housing happiness of the people."
