Silla University Operates Employment Support Program for Local Disabled Youth

Shilla University University Job Plus Center received great response by conducting a ‘Resume Writing and Interview Coaching’ program to support employment for local disabled youth.


From the 8th to the 16th, the Shilla University University Job Plus Center held three sessions of ‘Resume Writing and Interview Coaching’ for 23 disabled youth preparing for employment at the auditorium of Seogu Disabled Welfare Center and Shilla University Library.


The event involved employment-dedicated professors and professional consultants from the University Job Plus Center, providing a hands-on educational program covering the entire employment preparation process and real-life situations, including ▲ID photo shooting ▲resume writing using computers ▲interview coaching ▲practical mock interviews.

Silla University Operates Employment Support Program for Local Disabled Youth A local employment support program for young people with disabilities is currently underway.

The disabled youth who participated in this program expressed their gratitude to the University Job Plus Center, saying they gained confidence in preparing for employment.


Jang Hee-jung, director of the Shilla University University Job Plus Center, said, “Disabled individuals may have difficulty effectively expressing their abilities, but through this program, they seem to have improved their self-expression skills and gained confidence in job seeking activities,” adding, “Going forward, the Shilla University University Job Plus Center will continue to take the lead in overcoming misunderstandings and prejudices about disabilities and supporting employment activities of local disabled youth.”
