Galleria Department Store announced on the 20th that it will showcase exterior decorations, including a Christmas tree, at its Seoul luxury pavilion to celebrate the year-end season.
This year’s Christmas installation is being carried out in collaboration with the Italian luxury brand PRADA.
The decoration was designed inspired by Prada’s 2023 holiday campaign. Using the bubble-shaped ornaments introduced in the campaign and the ‘black and white’ checkerboard pattern of the marble floor from the historic 1913 Prada boutique located in Milan, Galleria completed its unique Christmas design.
In the outdoor plaza, 25 giant ornaments decorated with the Prada logo were stacked up to 11 meters high to create an extraordinary Christmas tree.
Since 2016, Galleria has presented distinctive Christmas installations at its luxury pavilion in collaboration with luxury brands. Starting with Bulgari in 2016, followed by Cartier (2017), Chanel (2018), Louis Vuitton (2019), Fendi (2020), Dior (2021), and Bottega Veneta (2022), Galleria has established itself as a representative Christmas destination in Seoul by showcasing Christmas decorations with various brands.
A representative from Hanwha Galleria said, “Based on our premium image, we will continue to collaborate with various luxury brands to present unique content.”
