Chosun Hotel & Resort announced on the 20th that it will launch the ‘Chosun Hotel Stollen’ and ‘Chosun Hotel B?che de No?l’ through SSG.com to celebrate the Christmas season.
Chosun Hotel Stollen, which was first introduced last December during the Christmas season, gained great popularity by selling out the prepared quantity within 10 days. This year, it has been made even more special with a holiday limited edition package that fully captures the Christmas atmosphere.
Stollen, a bread enjoyed during the Christmas season in Germany, is made by generously adding dried fruits such as raisins, dried apricots, maraschino cherries, candied fruit peels, almonds, and spices. It is characterized by its luxurious taste created with the expertise and premium recipe of Chosun Deli’s patissier.
Since Stollen has excellent preservation qualities, it can be enjoyed even more deliciously when aged for 2 to 3 weeks in a dry, cool place or in the refrigerator. It is recommended to cut it into slices about 0.5 to 1 cm thick from the center and to store any leftover bread by pressing the cut surfaces together, wrapping it in plastic wrap or a plastic bag, and refrigerating it.
This year, the Chosun Hotel B?che de No?l Christmas cake, which will further enrich the Christmas atmosphere, is also newly introduced. Shaped like a log, this traditional French Christmas cake symbolizes burning a log to drive away bad luck and wish for a happy new year. It features a rich chocolate sponge filled with smooth chocolate cream to resemble a log, finished with dark chocolate ganache. The prices of the Stollen and B?che de No?l are 35,000 KRW and 33,000 KRW respectively, and they will be sold as Christmas season limited editions.
A representative from Chosun Hotel & Resort said, “We launched these new products for those planning special gifts for their loved ones this upcoming year-end. We hope everyone spends a warm year-end with their loved ones along with these traditional German and French Christmas desserts that will enhance the Christmas spirit.”
