KIPO to Hold 'Patent Attorney Practical Training Group Education' in January Next Year

The Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) will begin recruiting participants for the "Patent Attorney Practical Training Group Education" in January next year.


KIPO announced on the 20th that applications for the "2023 First Half Patent Attorney Practical Training Group Education" will be accepted from the 27th of this month until the 1st of next month through the International Intellectual Property Training Institute website.


The group education will be held primarily for the final successful candidates of the Patent Attorney Association (60th session) from January 2 to February 2 next year at the International Intellectual Property Training Institute located in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon.


The curriculum will mainly consist of practical subjects focused on the skills required for patent attorney work. Additionally, basic courses will include professional ethics necessary for patent practice and general knowledge of labor and tax affairs required for operating a patent office.
