The Guro-gu wrestling team won one gold medal and two silver medals at the "1st Samsung Life National Wrestling Tournament," held from the 15th at the Park Chung-hee Gymnasium in Gumi-si, Gyeongbuk.
The Guro-gu Office wrestling team sent a total of six athletes to this competition.
Park Yong-min won the gold medal in the 97kg freestyle category, while Nam Dae-hyun, who competed in the 79kg category, and Ki Yeon-jun, who competed in the 125kg category, each took home silver medals.
Meanwhile, the Guro-gu wrestling team plans to focus on training ahead of the 17th National Wrestling Comprehensive Championships and the first national team selection tournament in 2024, scheduled for December.
