President Yoon Suk-yeol will meet with the leaders of the United States and Japan on the 16th (local time) in San Francisco, USA, where the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit is being held.
The presidential office announced that President Yoon will meet with U.S. President Joe Biden and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida on the same day.
This will be the first time in three months that the leaders of South Korea, the United States, and Japan meet together since the trilateral summit held at Camp David, USA, on August 18.
Earlier, the three leaders also briefly met for about two minutes to exchange greetings and take photos during the Group of Seven (G7) summit held in Hiroshima, Japan, in May.
