Lotte ON Signs Business Agreement with Korea Social Enterprise Promotion Agency

Lotte Shopping's e-commerce division announced on the 17th that it has signed a business agreement with the Korea Social Enterprise Promotion Agency to support online sales channels for social enterprises.

Since 2021, Lotte ON has been working with the Korea Social Enterprise Promotion Agency to support online sales channels for social enterprises. Lotte ON has actively expanded the scale of support projects for social enterprises by holding onboarding briefings and ongoing special exhibitions for social enterprises. As a result, sales from social enterprises on Lotte ON increased by more than 20% year-on-year from January to October this year.

Through this business agreement, they will take active measures to support and foster online sales channels for social enterprises. Both parties will cooperate through information exchange to discover and nurture outstanding social enterprises, and will operate onboarding briefings and training programs to strengthen capabilities.

Additionally, Lotte ON will continuously operate special exhibitions to enhance brand and product awareness and increase sales for social enterprises, and will carry out active marketing activities such as banner advertisements. During December, they plan to hold a 'Christmas Market' special exhibition gathering social enterprises operating related products in line with the year-end concept.

Park Dal-ju, Head of Sales Division 1 at Lotte e-commerce, said, "Through this agreement, we will discover and nurture outstanding social enterprises and support them in various ways to grow together." He added, "We will support sellers who face difficulties in pioneering online sales channels, including social enterprises, small and medium-sized enterprises, and local community businesses, and realize the value of mutual growth."
