CSAT is over, now it's strategy!... Mapo-gu University Admission Briefing & 1:1 Counseling

The college entrance exam for this year concluded on the 16th. The dice have been cast, and now the remaining tasks are choosing and applying to universities.

Mapo-gu (Mayor Park Gang-su) will hold the '2024 College Admission Information Session' and provide one-on-one counseling for examinees and parents who are contemplating their admission strategies after the exam.

The college admission information session will be held on December 1st at 4 PM in the main auditorium of Mapo-gu Office.

They have invited instructor Jo Man-gi (chief lecturer of the Korea Council for University Education), who has extensive experience and know-how in the admission field, to give a lecture on next year’s regular admission strategies and the changing admission system.

Additionally, on December 16th, one-on-one customized counseling for regular admission will be provided to local high school seniors and their parents to assist with filling out regular admission applications.

Each counseling session will last 40 minutes, and 15 professional teachers affiliated with the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education Research and Information Center will conduct the counseling.

The district expects that the one-on-one professional counseling will greatly help students and parents establish the optimal regular admission application strategy based on their exam scores and desired career paths.

Residents who wish to attend the information session or receive one-on-one counseling can apply via the Mapo-gu Office website or the Mapo Career and Job Experience Support Center website through QR codes or links.

The information session will accept 250 participants on a first-come, first-served basis from November 15th to November 28th, and the one-on-one counseling will accept 150 participants from November 29th to December 11th.

For more details, inquiries can be made to the Mapo Career and Job Experience Support Center.

Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, said, “Regardless of the exam results, I commend the examinees who have diligently fulfilled their duties as students for a long time and the parents who supported them. I hope that the information session and one-on-one counseling prepared by Mapo-gu will ease the concerns of examinees and parents and help them establish effective admission strategies.”
