Expansion of Air Purifiers and Air Shower Dry Rooms
Kumho Resort announced on the 16th that starting next month, it will expand and officially operate dog-only rooms within Seorak Resort.
Kumho Resort stated that as the number of pet owners in Korea has surpassed 15 million and 'Petcations' (pets + vacations) have become a new trend in travel, it has expanded the dog-only rooms operated at Seorak Resort.
The number of dog-only rooms within Seorak Resort has been increased from 4 to 9, and the room type has been upgraded to Hugreen Suite (27 pyeong). The Hugreen Suite was renovated in 2021. The dog-only rooms are located on the lower floors of the Hugreen Suites to minimize the movement paths of pet owners.
Amenities for dogs have also been enhanced. New additions include pet stairs, towels, air purifiers, and an air shower drying room. Various dog supplies such as pet beds, dish sets, and potty pads are also provided. The resort convenience store stocks pet food and snacks for anytime use.
The dog-only rooms at Seorak Resort will be available for advance booking through the Kumho Resort official website, travel agencies, social commerce platforms, and various travel reservation sites. Up to two dogs per room are allowed, and only small dogs weighing less than 8 kg can use the rooms.
