This year, as interest in OpenAI's ChatGPT has surged, companies have found themselves in a dilemma. How can they utilize conversational artificial intelligence (AI) like ChatGPT? Based on this conversational AI technology and customer experience, Skelter Labs has continuously explored various application areas. They have launched and are currently offering ‘BELLA,’ a business brand for researching, developing, and applying large language models (LLM), and AIQ Plus (AIQ+), a conversational AI solution specialized for AI contact centers.


Specifically, the Q&A chatbot solution ‘BELLA QNA’ has proven its performance through real business use cases. In October, they launched the beta service of the LLM-based ‘Event Q&AI’ with KB Kookmin Card, delivering accurate information on hundreds of daily updated events. The key feature of ‘BELLA QNA’ is its ability to efficiently utilize both LLM technology and corporate data simultaneously. This enables the generation of optimized answers to questions. CEO Cho explained, "Companies that need to quickly update and deliver vast amounts of information to customers, those seeking a professional and accurate Q&A chatbot solution, or those wanting to integrate specialized chatbot solutions into their products and services can adopt BELLA QNA and enjoy its expected benefits."


AIQ Plus is a series of conversational AI solutions and a platform that allows anyone to easily apply and utilize the conversational AI technologies developed by Skelter Labs. It combines solutions such as chatbots, voicebots, machine reading comprehension, speech recognition, and speech synthesis to enable customized implementation for client companies. For example, it can provide chatbots that handle customer consultations or offer Q&A services on manual content for internal employees as a work support system. By combining various conversational AI technologies, it is also possible to build an Artificial Intelligence Contact Center (AICC).


As conversational AI is their main focus, this year of the ChatGPT craze was both an opportunity and a challenge for Skelter Labs. In March, they integrated ChatGPT into ‘AIQ Plus Chat’ and began their own LLM research and development, aiming for a release in the second half of the year. CEO Cho said, "We will not limit ourselves to ChatGPT but will comprehensively review various large-scale AI technologies, accelerate their application in services, and open the era of AI becoming part of everyday life." He added, "We plan to continue dedicating ourselves to essential AI research and development to help companies improve work efficiency and achieve sustainable growth."
