"Reducing Daily Inconveniences and Eliminating Welfare Blind Spots"

Jindo-gun, Jeollanam-do held a public-private cooperation system performance sharing event on the 15th at the Jindo-gun Women's Center Eoul Madang.

According to the county on the 16th, more than 50 members and officials of the public-private cooperation system in the eup and myeon areas, including the Community Security Council, Our Neighborhood Welfare Task Force, and Honorary Social Welfare Officers, participated in this performance sharing event to present and share their activities and best practices.

The presented best practices included three areas: △ Gunnae-myeon Community Security Council's specialized project "Lighting the Lamp of the Heart" △ Uisin-myeon "Improving Daily Life Inconveniences by Our Neighborhood Welfare Task Force" △ Jindo-eup Honorary Social Welfare Officers' "Elderly~ Please Open the Door."

These cases introduced the process of discovering households in crisis through the public-private cooperation system, promptly connecting resources to improve daily inconveniences, and providing a pleasant living environment to help them escape from crisis.

Kim Byung-gwang, head of the Gunnae-myeon Welfare Task Force, said in his presentation of the best practices, "We will actively seek ways to look after and help neighbors in need and take the lead in making Jindo a place where everyone lives well."

A representative from the Jindo-gun Resident Welfare Division said, "We deeply appreciate the hard work of those who actively participated and cooperated in welfare projects throughout the year," adding, "Through this performance sharing event, we will do our best to establish a cooperative system between the public and private sectors, foster our capabilities through active communication, and contribute to revitalizing local welfare."

Meanwhile, Jindo-gun has been making efforts to discover welfare blind spots and revitalize local welfare projects by conducting capacity-building education for the public-private cooperation system in eup and myeon areas in September.
