Hyundai Capital Establishes Internal Compliance System for Fair Trade Adherence

Hyundai Capital has created its own internal compliance system to adhere to fair trade-related regulations.

On the 16th, Hyundai Capital announced at its headquarters on Sejong-daero, Seoul, that it will implement the 'Fair Trade Compliance 2.0 (Fair play program)'.

This system was independently established to comply with fair trade-related laws, through which the standards and procedures for the requirements of the Fair Trade Commission have been reorganized.

First, the content related to fair trade compliance will be designated as mandatory company regulations, with periodic reviews planned. Additionally, disclosures previously encompassed under corporate ethics on the existing website will be separately established on a fair trade compliance page to strengthen external announcements.

Hyundai Capital will also produce a handbook on the revised compliance system to make it easy for employees to refer to and utilize in their work. Furthermore, compliance system training will be improved, and incentives for employees who contribute to the spread of fair trade compliance will be enhanced.

On the 14th, Mok Jin-won, CEO of Hyundai Capital, Park Jung-woo, head of the Compliance Office, and other key executives also announced the 'Declaration of Commitment to Fair Trade Compliance.' CEO Mok stated, "Fairness and transparency are essential values for Hyundai Capital to leap forward as a global financial company," adding, "As the top executive, I will take the lead to firmly establish 'Fair Trade Compliance 2.0'."
