Gyeonggawon Conducts Safety Inspection of Botdeul Park Adjacent to Pangyo Startup Campus

Kang Seong-cheon, Director of Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency, and other officials are conducting a safety inspection at Botdeul Park.

On the 13th, the Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency conducted a safety inspection of Botdeul Park, adjacent to the Pangyo Startup Campus.

The agency focused on the management status of safety facilities and vulnerable areas during the winter season to prevent not only major industrial accidents but also major civic disasters.

On the day of the inspection, Kang Seongcheon, the director of the agency, also participated.

The agency particularly concentrated on measures against heavy snowfall, securing drainage and snow removal equipment materials in Botdeul Park adjacent to the Startup Campus, and focused on preventing major civic disasters during the winter season.

Director Kang Seongcheon emphasized, "We will do our best to quickly improve any hazardous and dangerous factors found during this safety inspection to ensure that not a single safety accident occurs."

Since the enforcement of the Serious Accidents Punishment Act in January last year, the agency established a Safety Management Office directly under the director, achieving two consecutive years of accident-free and disaster-free records through professional and systematic safety and health management.
